<description>Just to say THANK YOU, MARGIE, and also second Margie's THANK YOU to Mike Tabor, Gwen Marshall of NRRC, Ray Dehn, the Peace Foundation, Restorative Justice, the Firewomen &#038; Firemen who brought the fire truck out, Godiva the K9 officer and her handler, Dave's locks, and all the other people who committed their time and energy to make this a
great event. (I wasn't on the planning committee, so I'm sure that I'm leaving people out.)

I was really blown away by Mary Brandl's thoughtful personal safety presentation, which focused on developing confident and neutral body language, and let us experience how transforming this awareness can be. I see from her website (www.bpscom.com) that she also teaches specifically about conflict resolution, and this approach permeated her presentation. Really, the whole experience was
a little more substantive than the title "personal safety workshop" might convey.

Anyway, I'm hoping we can bring her back to another event!
